What is a Unix timestamp?
It's the number of seconds elapsed since 00:00:00 UTC on 1 January 1970 (the 'epoch'). Milliseconds-based timestamps are 1000× larger.
How do I know if my timestamp is in seconds or milliseconds?
Ten-digit timestamps are usually seconds; thirteen-digit ones are milliseconds. This tool detects and handles both.
